SO WELL-received was the vibrant performance of The Stumble at the Harbourside in Liverpool in July that they are back by popular demand to start the year's programme for 2007 on Wednesday (January 10). Paul Melville's vocals are backed by one of the best blues bands in the country. Together they deliver a broad range of tempo from slow and gritty blues, through bouncing shuffles to fast-moving boogies. The show will begin at 8.30pm, with an acoustic set preceding the normal full-band performance. As a bonus, you will be able to take an authentic recording of their music home with you, by purchasing a copy of their highly acclaimed album, The World Is Tough, which will soon be featured on the Paul Jones blues programme on BBC Radio 2. The Harbourside is at Liverpool Marina, situated at Coburg Wharf, Sefton Street. * Tickets for the concert (£10 each) are obtainable from John Welsh on 0151 428 2855. |
