THE bootylicious Beyonce returns to the Manchester Evening News Arena on Thursday, June 7 next year. Tickets, priced from £36 to £56, went on sale last Friday. Having just topped the charts with Déjà Vu, the multi-Grammy award-winning superstar returns to Manchester following her 2003 Dangerous In Love show and last year's Destiny's Child tour. She will be performing tracks from her new No 1 album, B-Day, as well as the infectious hits Crazy In Love, Baby Boy and Me, Myself and I from her 2003 debut album. Beyonce's debut solo album Dangerous in Love went multi-platinum, selling over 10 million copies worldwide in 2003. Her new album B-Day rocketed straight to the top of the album charts in both the UK and US in its first week of release. Having already won three MOBO Awards and an MTV VMA this year, Beyonce is due to star alongside Jamie Foxx in one of the most highly anticipated films of the year - Dream Girl. * For more information on Beyonce's Manchester show, ring 0870 190 8000. |
