Girls on the road

Dec 29 2006

Chester Chronicle, Llandudno

They've conquered the critics and the country alike and have had more consecutive top ten singles than any girl band in history.

Now get ready to see them live as Girls Aloud announce a mammoth UK Arena tour in the spring.

The feisty five just released their electrifying new single Something Kinda Ooooh, taken from The Sound Of Girls Aloud: The Greatest Hits which this week shot straight to Number One.

The 15 track disc includes Girls Aloud's astonishing run of 12 top ten singles. Their run of consecutive top ten singles beats the likes of Spice Girls and Destiny's Child. All of the singles are included from the chart-topping Sound Of The Underground and I'll Stand By You to the pop classics Love Machine, Biology and Jump.

* Their spring tour includes a date at the Manchester Evening News Arena on May 20. Ring 0870 190 8000 for details.
