COME Together is Club Zinc's regular Saturday night event with resident DJ Jamie Trippier playing US house and garage, mixed in with quality UK and French house. Doors are open from 10pm-2am, with admission £3 before 11pm and £4 after. Every third Saturday of the month Jamie Trippier teams up with Phat Phil Cooper to present The Global Grooves Sessions, a night of US influenced house music ranging from deep soulful tracks through to dirty, dark twisted disco beats. Doors are 10pm-2a, price £3 before 11pm and £4 after. Watch out for one-off events at the club and also Cross Over, a fortnightly mix of hard house, trance and progressive, coming to Club Zinc from Friday August 17. Entry will be £6-£8 For those of you who prefer to keep your dancing feet firmly in the mainstream, Club Zinc's stablemate, Scruples, offers a mix of dance, pop and chart three times a week (7pm-2am). Those with a taste for fuzzy navels and zombies are well catered for on Fridays at Cocktail Society. Entry is £1 before midnight and £3 after with cocktails at £1.50 all night. Saturday night is party night at Scruples with DJ Kev Hamilton. Admission is free before 10pm, £3 before 11pm and £4 afterwards. Hard-up students and tightwads alike will appreciate Quids In on a Thursday with £1 entry and £1 bottles and spirits. For both clubs the dress code is smart and sexy and the usual age restrictions apply. Under 18s can enjoy their own exclusive clubbing experience during the summer at Club Zinc. Party and chill in an alcohol and drug-free zone every Monday up until the end of August. £3-£4 admission includes one free soft drink from the bar. |
