Daily Post, Llandudno

IMAGINE Ken Dodd, Matt Lucas, Rik Mayall and Norman Wisdom in a room together... Rik Mayall pulls a funny face across the room, while Matt "Little Britain" Lucas peers through his glasses, cross-eyed, at the rest of them.

These four laughter-makers plus 35 more are all currently in a room near Wrexham for the public's pleasure.

Funny Face Portrait Exhibition is a major selling photography exhibition by Chester photographer Andy Hollingworth.

Andy's portraits have received exposure in many publications. He was commissioned by Dave Spikey to produce stills used in the Phoenix Nights series - and by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant to document the final episodes of the multi-award winning show The Office and more recently the second series of Extras.

Andy has photographed over 300 comedians, some of them many times, and over 15 years worth of the best have been brought together to exhibit at Erddig Hall, the National Trust property near Wrexham, for a four-week show.

Portraits include comedians, comic actors and writers such as June Whitfield, Eddie Izzard, Lenny Henry, Peter Kay, Victoria Wood and more. . Funny Face portrait exhibition runs until September 20 and is open daily except Thursdays and Fridays. Normal admission prices to the property apply.
