THE Wingmakers became the latest team to fall victim to the Black and Greens’ unbeaten start to the season yesterday. Craig Harrison’s men were confident they could break the home side’s 10-game run without defeat, but, even though they enjoyed plenty of possession after the break, they never truly looked like doing that. They had goalkeeper Phil Palethorpe to thank for getting to half-time without conceding, with the former Chester City youngster producing a handful of good saves. But there was little he could do to stop Geoff Kellaway’s 54th-minute winner, as the striker was allowed to run unchallenged before rifling in from 18 yards. Airbus, after boss Harrison threw on top-scorer James McIntosh, then came into the game, but the closest they came to equalising was when they had an effort cleared off the line.
