SEAN Pritchard hit a hat-trick as in-form Greenfield moved into the Premier Division top five on Saturday with a stunning 5-1 victory at previously unbeaten Mochdre.

Darren Williams and Wayne Bayliss also found the net for the Division One champions.

Halkyn United Reserves produced a fine performance to draw 0-0 at second-placed Abergele, but Aston Park Rangers went down 6-3 at pacesetters Prestatyn Reserves after taking a first-minute lead through Gary Jones. Mark Evans and Paul Higgins were also on target for Aston.

Chris Barnard, Lewis Worthing and Josh Norris fired Sychdyn to a 3-0 Premier Cup first-round win at Llansannan, but Brynford United, despite Roger Dakin’s strike, are out after they fell 4-1 at home to Denbigh Reserves.

Caerwys, through Jonathan Griffiths, David Jones and Lee Jones, came from three goals behind at the break to draw 3-3 at home to Glan Conwy Reserves in Division One.

Gap Connah’s Quay Reserves swept into the second round of the REM Jones Cup with a 6-1 success at Betws-yn-Rhos secured by Adam Dickinson, Craig Jones (2), Sean McDermott, Phil Killa and Tom Lloyd.

Aston Park Rangers Reserves sprung a surprise as they won 5-3 on penalties at Point of Ayr, for whom John Terry, Simon Bowers, Graham Williams and Terry Luke netted as the thriller finished 4-4 after extra time.

Andy Alden and Danny Harwin bagged braces for Aston.

Mostyn Dragons moved five points clear at the top of Division Two with a 3-1 home triumph over Holywell Town Reserves. Sam Watson, Paul Smith and Ritchie Lloyd did the damage, with Dean Blythin reducing the deficit.

Anthony Weaver (2) earned Aston Park Rangers a 2-1 victory at rock- bottom Bro Cernyw, while Timmy Jones earned Brynford United Reserves a 1-1 draw at Llannefydd.

Shotton Steel Reserves, thanks to Tom Rose and Jase Foulden (2), staged a spirited fightback to draw 3-3 at home to Llanrwst Reserves, Caerwys Reserves lost 1-0 at Meliden, while Dave Joyce and Craig Brielly could not stop Wepre Rangers from being edged out 3-2 at home by second-placed Penrhyn.
