SHOTTON Steel made it three Under 12s Division wins from three on Saturday when they won 3-1 at home to previously unbeaten Hawarden Rangers.

Danny Edwards, Ryan Pearce and Danny Anderson did the damage for the second-placed Steelmen, with Rhys Roberts reducing the deficit for third-placed Hawarden.

Four-goal star Alex Calvert fired Mold Juniors to a 4-2 home victory over Peny- ffordd Pumas, for whom Liam Hughes netted twice.

Hitman Alex Jones also scored four as Phoenix edged a seven-goal thriller 4-3 at home to Buckley Town Juniors, who went close through Jamie Hodgson (2) and Joseph Jones.

Pacesetters Mostyn Dragons booked their place in the second round of the NWCFA U12s Cup with an 8-1 home blast of Amlwch Town.

Jon Edmonds (2), Jack Williams, Brandon Davies, Dylan Garner, George Lunt and Connor Charlton-Fleming (2) shared the strikes for Mostyn.

Holywell Town Juniors also progressed after visitors Deiniolen conceded the first-round clash.

Buckley Town Vipers won their club battle with Buckley Town Colts 7-1 on Saturday to take over at the top of the Under 13s Division.

Kris Turner (2), Jared Jones, Sam Woodward, Rhys Edwards, Jake Davies and James Birkett got their names on the scoresheet for the Vipers, with Donny Jones offering the Colts’ consolation.

Hawarden Rangers maintained their unbeaten start with an 8-0 home win over Flint-Bagillt Juniors, in which Josh Davies found the net four times and Liam Walker and Dan Jones twice each.

Penyffordd, through Ben Bailey, Chris Hardy and Shaun Middleton, got up and running with a 3-2 home victory over Mostyn Dragons, whose replies came courtesy of Danny Chamberlain (2).

Mynydd Isa Youth won a 10-goal tussle at Aston Park Rangers 6-4 thanks to hat-trick hero Laurence Dickinson, Luke Nelson, Alex Jones and Corey Roberts. Jarred Carey (2), Josh Homewood and Ben Birkett were on target for Aston.
