LEE Jones hit a hat-trick as Buckley Town Juniors ended table- topping Connah’s Quay Tigers’ unbeaten start to the Under 14s Division on Saturday.

Charlie McGowan completed the third-placed home side’s scoring in the 4-1 victory.

Second-placed Penyffordd, despite Gareth Roden and Arthur Doo strikes, went down 3-2 at fifth- placed Mostyn Dragons, whose heroes were Ashley Davies, Jake Richardson and Andi Edwards.

Fourth-placed Shotton Steel, courtesy of Aron Crenshaw (2), Jake Eyre (2) and Darren Watton, maintained their 100% winning record with a 5-1 triumph at Mold Junior Hawks, for whom Anthony Jones was on target.

A Timothy Owen treble and a Rhys Edwards single saw Peny- ffordd Colts to a 4-0 win at Brynford.

Holywell Town Juniors, through Ryan Renshaw (2), Zak Williams and Timmy Williams, equalled that scoreline at home to Ewloe Harriers.

Shotton Steel powered to a 10-0 whitewash of visiting Glans on Saturday to stay top of the Under 15s Division.

Kieran Williams, Ryan Thomas, Andrew Hoxby, Daniel Mitchell, Jonathon Jones and Tom Boyle got the goals.

Flint-Bagillt Junior Eagles are hot on the Steelmen’s heels after hat- trick hero Jack Higgott, Joseph Goundrey, Tom Cutler, Phil Simon and Josh Richardson fired them to a 7-1 win at Aston Park Rangers, for whom Josh Edwards saved face.

Holywell Town Juniors, thanks to Sam Parry, Jake Spencer, Ryan Lawlor and Kallum Pierce (2), got off the mark with a 5-2 home victory over Halkyn United, for whom Jordan Ward and James Jones reduced the deficit.

Hawarden Rangers got up and running in style as they sent Prestatyn Athletic packing 8-0, with Jordan Walker blasting four goals and Gareth Roden, Carl Davies and Thomas Bonney two apiece.

Josh Price could not stop Penyffordd from losing 2-1 at Towyn Rangers.
