Ferries Stenaline's HSS takes 99 minutes from Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire and does four trips a day each way. Foot passengers can get a day return for as little as £14, which includes the return rail fare into Dublin city centre from Dun Laoghaire, a journey of about 20 minutes. The DART railway station is just across the road from the ferry terminal and the trains run very frequently. There are lots of other special fares on the HSS, whether you go on foot or take the car. If you're driving there is also the Stenaline Superferry which takes three hours and goes into Dublin Port. Both vessels have plenty of food and entertainment on board.
