Why visit Dublin?

 Previous 1 2

You can stay on the open-top bus as long as you like and get a good tour of much of the city or just use it to get from one major attraction to another. The ticket is valid all day, so you can get back on when your feet are tired or to shelter from the rain.

The other popular way to get rest and shelter is to drop into one of Dublin's wonderful traditional pubs - then you can get sustenance as well. The Guinness just has to be tried.

But if you don't fancy the pub, the cafes, restaurants and hotels are great, too. And if you've packed your own butties, then head for one of the lovely parks - St Stephen's Green, Merrion Square or Phoenix Park.

Some of the top attractions in Dublin

St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin

Trinity College and the Book of Kells
The Guinness Storehouse
National Museum
National Gallery
Natural History Museum
Dublin Castle
O'Connell Street GPO
Christchurch Cathedral

Dublinia
