Series of walks set the pace for week

A SERIES of walks in the Denbighshire countryside has been organised to celebrate National Environment Week.

The list features a number of sites in the Vale including: Old Railways And Churches - Wednesday June 5, 2pm-4pm: A picturesque walk along the Cynwyd railway and visit to Llangar Church. Meet in the lay-by off the B4401 in Stamp.

Summer On Moel Findeg - Thursday June 6, 1.45pm-3.45pm: A close look at the wildlife on with local botanist Joe Phillips. Meet in Loggerheads Country Park.

Alyn Valley Revealed - Friday June 7, 10am-3pm: A scenic circular walk in the Alyn Valley. Explore the woodlands and bridleways. Meet in the car park.
