AA Guest Accommodation of the Year award for the very best B&B has gone to Mrs Olwen Evans of Tyddynmawr in Dolgellau. She has earned the highest five-diamond rating that can be achieved by B&Bs. This 18th century farmhouse lies at the foot of Cader Idris with its breathtaking scenery. Other prestigious awards go to Paul and Sarah Heading, owners of the Conrah Hotel in Aberystwyth, who will be presented with a Courtesy and Care award for outstanding levels of hospitality. The AA Wine Award for Wales, recognising an exceptional wine list and commitment to the promotion of wine appreciation, was toasted by Fairyhill at Reynoldston, Gower.
