A NEW £30,000 under-fives play area opened this week at Yr Hwylfan/The Fun Centre in Caernarfon. The new area has been designed to challenge children under the age of five in a fun way. Wendy Crisp, from Yr Hwylfan, said: "Although this new design has been a big financial investment, we felt that our present under-fives area was not challenging enough. I feel that this new area will entertain children as much as the main play area does." The new area also includes seating so that parents can relax while their children play. The area has been open for a week and has already proved to be a big hit with under-fives. Stuart Crisp added: "It's been a big hit with the smaller children. They now have their own designated area, they only had a small one before and now it's a two-storey area where they can climb around and investigate and play on the slides and in the ball pools. We also have a designated underthree area. "The children that have been already think it is brilliant!" she added. |
