The other two offences of unnecessary suffering are alleged to have happened on September 22 and 29. The fifth offence, being in possession of the decomposed remains of an ovine animal, is alleged to have happened on September 23. The sixth charge accuses the defendant of being in possession of the mummified remains of an ovine animal. The remaining three charges refer to the failure of the defendant to produce records and failure to send in a copy of a movement licence. Michael Strain, defending, said: "What we have here is a very complicated issue relating to the burial of animals. " The case will be heard at Pwllheli on Wednesday, September 27. |
