The bird attacked as Larry and Phyllis were walking on Clogwyn Mawr above Capel Curig at the weekend. He said: "I'm meant to be relaxing more and I'm on a special non-stress diet. The walk was partly an attempt to get fit and help me lose some weight as well as enjoying the winter sunshine. "It was a very clear, frosty day and I started filming the view. During the walk we'd been talking about grouse and all of a sudden one appeared. "So I pointed the camera at the bird and took some really nice footage." Twenty minutes later, when Larry and Phyllis sat down for a cup of tea, the grouse reappeared in the undergrowth. Larry put bread out for the bird and Phyllis kept filming. "We were sitting down when the bird appeared over the hill making a noise like a bulldog," he said. "It must have been following us for about 20 minutes. |
