Miall was described as "very loving" to his six brothers and sisters: Manon, 20, Lliwen, 16, Dochan, 14, Carmel, 11, Hana, five and two-year-old Caio. He attended Ysgolsgol Llanuwchllyn then Ysgol Y Berwyn in Bala. After leaving school, he worked for his father at his family's own plant hire business. Miall left last year to work for Jones Bros plant hire company before returning to work for his dad. He then switched to a job with a local builder before joining EW Jones plant hire, of Fron Goch, Bala. He was keen on rally cars and took part in crock car races. Miall's mother Janice, 40, was too upset to talk about the death.
