TV presenter Iolo Williams, a star of Welsh and English language wildlife programmes, visited Denbigh for a special occasion. Denbighshire's Countryside Service has worked closely with conservation volunteers to transform a former derelict site into a nature area with a host of features, which Iolo launched at Maes Derw, Trefeirian. The initial works were carried out by contractors but the project can only be sustained to a high standard through the hard work of volunteers and Countryside staff. |
