THE hunt is on and attracting more members than ever according to Master of the Flint and Denbigh Hunt, Ricky Proffitt. But anti-hunt campaigner Judi Hewitt says protesters will closely monitor the situation. The only point both sides agree on is that the banning laws which have come into force have not been thought out properly. Mr Proffitt said that so far, the season has been good with line hunting as well as flushing out foxes and with gunmen on the ground. He added the hunt meets up three days a week and the sheer volume of media coverage has attracted more people to join. |
