BANGOR had Adam Docker sent off just before half-time and then lost keeper Ian Harvard to injury as rampant Nomads stretched their impressive record to just one defeat in 13 games. "It was an absolutely foul night with gale-force winds and blinding rain hammering down, but we overcame all the difficulties to produce another cracking result," said Nomads boss Neville Powell. "We defended really well when Bangor came back at us but another clean sheet tells its own story." A blistering volley from Adam Dickinson on 21 minutes set dominant Nomads motoring as he sweetly buried a cross from Dave Swannick from 12 yards. Craig Garside added a superb second from 20 yards via a Gary Lovell opening. Then on 42 minutes Bangor were down to 10 men when Docker rashly kicked the ball away after being booked for a foul on Tommy Mutton and was promptly red-carded for a second bookable offence. The lively Mutton latched onto a Garside pass to drill home Nomads’ third from 15 yards on 64 minutes as the replacement of Harvard with substitute keeper Darren Owen added to player-manager Clayton Blackmore's woes.
