A BRAND new course will be held at the Urdd Centre at Cardiff Bay in August. The course named Bang! is available to 100 children, and will be located at Cardiff Bay’s Wales Millennium Centre. Bang! is a performing arts course, and offers children and young people all over Wales the opportunity to receive expert training in dance, song, voice and drama. The Urdd says it will be an excellent opportunity to make new friends, gain confidence as well as perform before an audience, live on the stage in the foyer in Wales’ Millennium Centre. The project is a brand new scheme between Urdd Gobaith Cymru, Diversions Dance Company, Hijinx Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre and the Welsh National Opera. There is a warm welcome for children of all abilities, between 11 and 15 years of age, to be a part of this unique course. The first course is held between August 17-22 and the second will be held the following week between August 24-29. The first course will be for non-Welsh speaking children and young people and the second one will be a Welsh medium course. |
