Good news is missing

Sep 10 2008

by Our Correspondent, Rhyl Visitor

I WONDER why you consider bad news to be the sort of news that your readers wish to have?

There are so many pleasant happenings in our communities too. Surely people must inform you of them as well?

I read about muggings, theft, jail sentences, comments against this and that, slagging off of various projects etc.

But there seems to be a dearth of normal, decent goings on.

Are they not what the public want any more then? They do happen around here you know.

It would be a big change to see someone being thanked or congratulated!

Perhaps we should consider how fortunate we are to live in this wonderful part of the British Isles.

Maybe some of your regular complainants might be better off moving to some other area if all they can do is moan.

Can we see some more positive – good – news please. A balance of both would even be better than what is printed these days.
