Residents must not stand in his way, you have been warned. Leave town, don’t interfere with what he wants to do because this man has no respect for anyone, especially the local residents. So if you don’t live in Prestatyn, Mr S Rastin, think before you give us your ultimatums. If given half a chance the Ffrith residents and Prestatyn people will help to make the Ffrith a success without your insensitive comments and ideas. Furthermore, we pay the rates here – you would do well to remember that. J ARNOLD Methven Drive Prestatyn VALE of Clwyd MP Chris Ruane is now campaigning to save the post office on Grange Road in Rhyl. He is quoted as saying: “It is one closure, but one closure is too many. I will be fighting this”. It is one of 52 post office branches earmarked for closure throughout North Wales. Less than six months ago Mr Ruane voted with the Labour government against a Conservative motion to stop the closure of post offices. In effect he voted to close post offices. What is he playing at now? GERRY FROBISHER Bryn Melyd,Meliden I AM appalled at the closure of the Little Theatre. I am a grandfather and enjoyed my grandchildren when they went to the theatre in Kilmarnock, Ayr and Glasgow. When they moved to Saltney they were still playing in the theatre there as well. It is the making of and the well-being of young people. The family, aunties, uncles and relations enjoy watching the development of youngsters. There is not enough all-round recreation. DUNCAN MCGREGOR Lôn Rhosyn,Rhyl AS a last word on the Rhyl station seagulls (letters passim), could the man responsible please come down to Brig-y-Don, near the Ffrith, and do the same?
