We must do all in our power to stop this from happening.

Visitors to Spain will have seen how all new development there has to incorporate any established palm trees.

We must not lose any more of the character of our town. If you hear any more talk of these magnificent trees being threatened, please contact your MP and town councillors.

IN response to your front page article about Park View Estates’ last piece of green space being built on, yet again, by Anwyl Estates.

Another 35 properties that aren’t needed but will certainly please the Anwyl shareholders.

Are we to lose any piece of land that hasn’t been built on? Just look at how many properties that are for sale and it tells its own story, that we don’t need any more houses being built.

Do Anwyl have that much clout that they can get around public opinion and common sense? It looks like they have.

THE following sign was seen in a side street in St Paul’s Bay, while on holiday in Malta this year:

“Please do not litter. Offenders will be prosecuted. Fines from Lm10 to Lm500. Confiscation of vehicle and suspension of driving licence up to one year. Offenders will be ordered to clean the area.”

Do you not think, with all the publicity in Rhyl and Prestatyn about litter in the streets, that we could have a by-law along the lines that is in force in St Paul’s Bay and what effect it would have?

JUST a note to thank you for publishing our photo and a nice write-up for our diamond wedding this week.
