GIRL Guides added an international flavour to their meeting when they travelled to France to retake a solemn vow. Along with colleagues from all over Europe, the 1st Meliden Guide Troop made their way to Disneyland Paris recently, where they again made the guide promise. During the three-day mission the troop also visited Planet Hollywood and spent time in the capital. Guide Leader Sharon Frobisher said: "The guides really appreciated meeting the other guides and making new friends. "I think it is important for new friendships to be forged and to remind the guides of the meaning of their promise." |
