Zion brings back the greatest reggae legend at Rhyl

Jun 25 2008

by Martin Williams, Rhyl Visitor

BOB Marley was a Jamaican singer, guitarist, songwriter and activist, widely acknowledged as the greatest ever reggae artist.

He is regarded by many as a prophet of the Rastafari Movement, and now, a new show coming to Rhyl’s Pavilion Theatre brings you a phenomenal tribute to him.

A nine-piece band, Zion capture all the power and energy, and each song is meticulously performed with utter conviction.

The show is breathtaking, and you will relive the magic of all of Marley’s hits, including I Shot the Sheriff, No Woman No Cry, and Could You Be Loved.

His posthumous compilation album Legend is the best-selling reggae album ever, with sales of more than 12 million copies, so go along and remind yourself why.

Zion will be performing at the Pavilion Theatre on Saturday from 7.30pm.

Tickets are £15, concessions £1 off. Call the box office on 01745 330000 or book online at www.rhylpavilion.co.uk
