DENBIGHSHIRE County Council is encouraging environmental groups, community organisations, charities, schools and sports clubs across the county to put in bids for between £1,000 and £10,000 worth of B&Q products, as part of the DIY company’s One Planet Living Awards. The Awards are open to organisers of projects that support the environment, biodiversity, natural habitats, wildlife, local culture and heritage. Additionally, there are two special awards of £5,000 combined cash/products to schools which submit innovative science-based proposals, showing an understanding about the environment and the importance of tackling climate change.
